4. Accuracy of Information
We use internationally-recognized Islamic calculation methods to determine Iftar and Sehri times, including:
- MWL (Muslim World League) – 18° below horizon
- ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) – 15° below horizon
- Umm al-Qura – 18.5° below horizon
- Diyanet (Turkish Directorate of Religious Affairs) – 20° below horizon
Timezone adjustments, including daylight saving time, are handled automatically via the IANA timezone database based on geographic coordinates.
For extreme latitudes (Arctic/Antarctic regions), alternative calculation methods are applied when standard astronomical methods are not practical. See our Trust Centre High Latitude Policy for details.
These times are calculated approximations based on astronomical data and may not be exact. We recommend confirming times with your local mosque or Islamic authority before making decisions based on our calculations. For detailed methodology, visit our Trust Centre documentation.

In no event shall IftarTimes.com or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on IftarTimes.com, even if we or our authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
